炭角菌科真菌—世界性專誌研究及地域性菌類相調查；分子系統發生學

炭角菌科真菌屬於核囊菌綱；本綱之真菌為子囊菌中最為常見的一群，其辨認特徵為：子囊為功能性單壁層且子囊殼為瓶狀。炭角菌科包含大約50屬，大部份成員的生物特性所知不多。炭角菌科真菌具有顯著的子座，其子囊頂端構造於碘溶液中呈藍色反應。子囊孢子為棕色並具一發芽孔。大部份種類的生長基質為被子植物的木材、種子、果實或葉片；少數種類可在裸子植物或樹蕨上找到。另有一些由昆蟲巢穴長出。大多數可腐朽木材，而有許多為植物病原菌。許多研究也顯示炭角菌科真菌為極常分離到的植物內生真菌。炭角菌科真菌具全球性分佈，但在熱帶及亞熱帶具有較高的多樣性。現今由於對於生物多樣性的重視，也促使了較深入及較廣泛的真菌採集活動在熱帶及亞熱帶地區進行，如此也導致了許多新物種的發現；然而我們對這些新物種的生物特性依然是所知甚少。

一、炭角菌科真菌之世界性專誌研究及地域性菌類相調查

我們已經做過專誌研究或訂正過的屬為Amphirosellinia、Annulohypoxylon、Ascovirgaria、Biscogniauxia、Creosphaeria、Daldinia、Discoxylaria、Entoleuca、Hypoxylon、Jumillera、Kretzschmaria、Kretzschmariella、Nemania、Occultitheca、Paramphisphaeria、Stilbohypoxylon、Theissenia、Vivantia、Whalleya及Xylotumulus。其中許多屬的相關資訊可於我們的炭角菌科網站 http://mycology.sinica.edu.tw/Xylariaceae 找到。臺灣也如其它熱帶及亞熱帶地區般蘊藏著豐富的炭角菌科真菌。已知種類將近有200種，分屬於Annulohypoxylon、Anthostomella、Biscogniauxia、Collodiscula、Creosphaeria、Daldinia、Halorosellinia、Hypoxylon、Jumillera、Kretzschmaria、Nemania、Rhopalostroma、Rosellinia、Stilbohypoxylon、Theissenia、Whalleya及Xylaria等17屬。

二、炭角菌科真菌之分子系統發生學

我們運用不同的DNA片段來推測炭角菌科內各分類群間之親緣關係。最近我們分析了83種屬於Annulohypoxylon(圖ㄧA)、Biscogniauxia(圖ㄧB)、Daldinia(圖ㄧC)和Hypoxylon(圖ㄧD)的ß-tubulin和α-actin序列。扼要地來說，Annulohypoxylon、Biscogniauxia和Hypoxylon各自形成高支持度的獨立演化枝(clade)，而Daldinia的種類則於Hypoxylon演化枝中形成一個次分枝(subclade)。另一個近期的研究乃是為了推論Theissenia(圖二)的系統親源關係。由於缺乏子囊頂端構造及子囊孢子上的發芽縫，真菌學家在過去一直不甚確定Theissenia是否屬於炭角菌科。我們的研究分析顯示Theissenia的確屬於炭角菌科，並且也推論出Theissenia與炭團菌亞科(Hypoxyloideae)中子座可分離為兩層的一些屬有較近的親源關係。
